Well, Katie's in Milwaukee.
Time to get this apartment cleaned up. And try to do the same to the finances ... eventually.
My brother and his wife and three kids are in town. Sunday night, we all had dinner at the Macaroni Grill. It was good to see them all again, if only for a very short time. If they're reading this, thanks again for buying dinner.
Not much else to say. Guess I'll be working out the rest of this week. It's a better alternative than dwelling.

Getting better
I put you and Katie on our church prayer list. (Katie for healing and you for guidance and strength) I figured it never hurts to have more people praying for you. I hope that's okay. Have you found a church that you like? I know that Shireen found one that she loves and is very involved with (I can't ever get ahold of her because shee's either at work or church), but as we are not Catholic, it probably wouldn't be what you're looking for. I hope you find one that works well for you and speaks to your heart. That can help so much when you're separated from those you love. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.August 2 2005, 05:42:03 UTC 6 years ago
Re: Getting better
Took me a while to figure out who you were. How've you been? It's been a LONG time.As to the Church thing ... we tend to Church hop a bit. Thinking seriously of going to a certain chapel in Malibu though.
As to the prayers ... thanks. I can't really think of a greater gift at this point. Except, you know, a miracle cure for Katie and a winning PowerBall ticket for me. That would actually probably require me to be the gambling type ... which I'm not, at least when it comes to lottery-type stuff.
Apparently, I AM when it comes to vocational and residence choices.
